Does Valet = Bypass plug

I hate to ask what I'd consider a "stupid question"...but here we go.

I think I already know the answer to this question but would like other peoples resposnes.

Its a bit of a pain in the ass to limp midway through a session, run back in, plug in the bypass plug and run back out. Usually I miss the session and get pissed off. If I limp, come back in and switch over to valet mode, is that the same?

I had asked Shiv about this and a couple other things earlier but got no response. Right now with the bypass plugs, the car will still make decent power with the current mods and push about 11psi max. With valet, is it going to negate the modifications (detune) down to stock power levels? . Or is it essentially a straight bypass? Im fairly sure its not a straight bypass.

HPDE

I read the economy/valet write-up last month, but it doesn't answer the question. He wrote "stock-like power and drivability". What specifically is it doing to achieve this? Is it just scaling down the performance maps or bypassing them completely?

In the end, all I care about is if the car will still maintain its extra bolt-on mod oomph.

Thanks for posting that link though. I completely forgot that you could keep the valet mode on then hit the green button to turn it off at any time.

What kind of tunes you have that allows you to run 12psi without Procede ???

Using bypass plugs is like using no tune. I cant see how you you see 12psi.

Running Valet will be similar to stock prformance.

Just free flowing mods... Catless exhaust, downpipes, intake. I read back to when I originally posted about the track event and it was actually 11psi max. Sorry.
