hey guys , just bought a 07 335d , (euro spec if that makes any odds)

Its a lovely spec with the logic 7 and pro sat nav (the 60/40 screen) idrive , bluetooth , voice control ect

only down side is iv only a AUX to plug in my ipod


whats the best (and cheapest way) to get my ipod hooked up so i can control it with the steering controls and idrive ?

is it just as simply as getting a USB port installed and then one of bmws cables ?

iv read people using a seprate moduel that joins into the cd changer cables and allows you to flick to and from cd changer or ipod


also how do i go about getting the tv function ? or is it more hassel than its worth ?

do you have a CCC sytem or CIC system?

if you have CCC the only option is a mulf high 2 retrofit (although im not 100% this works) or aftermarket type box that replaces CD changer

if you have CIC you can do either a combox or a mulf 2 retrofit or aftermarket box that replaces CD changer

i had a retrofited CIC and did the combxo retrofit and all in all costs around £300 including combox, retforfit harness, USB/AUX cable & port
