Indy Shop Recommendations in Chicagoland area

Hey guys, I recently got a service soon light, pulled the codes and I'm pretty sure it's thermostat issue. Took it to stealership and they said there's some other issues there and that they need to charge for 4 hours of labor to figure it out. On top of that, they can't guarantee they'll know what's wrong. BS. Anyways, looking for a reliable indy shop for them to take a look at it. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Dubwerks, in Libertyville Illinios did my water pump and thermostat, and are really good at it. Call rich, and tell em' his old bimmer pal sent ya!, he'll know who

If you want another option, then fall-Line motorsporst of buffalo grove, is pricier but can do the job as well.

I think about $500, but keep in mind that it's a VERY labor intensive job. It takes a long time (8 hours!) to get to the thermostat/water pump in these vehicles, which is why it's even advisable to do them both, and even the turbos while you're at it.

Man that seems really good. Isn't the water pump itself like 400 and thermostat like 100 on tischer just for parts?

So i have third party warranty and I think they cover water pump but not the thermostat. Does anyone know if I can use my 3rd party at an indy shop or just dealer?

If the indy shop has a tax id # then they can deal with aftermarket warranties.

Some shops don't because it's a huge hassle dealing with the warranty companies.

Hey man, stopped by dubwerks yesterday. Rich is definitely awesome. He's willing to work with my warranty company and is getting back to me. It was a bit of a drive but definitely worth it for the professionalism and service Rich provided. Thanks for the recommendation.

Did you get the replacement done at Dubwerks? My thermostat is going and I would like to get WP done at the same time.
