Hard Start symptom leading to Fuel Pump failure

My dealer is sure that the hard start issue I am having will lead to the failed fuel pump..so he is ordering one for me. When it comes in..they will install it. I guess this is a change from before..when everything was on intergalactic backorder. Maybe this issue will slowly dissappear?

Put me on the list of guys waiting for replace fuel pumps

That sucks! I hope that doesn't happen to me. I just got my exhaust done ,and I don't want to deal with the whole "you're exhaust caused the Fuel Pump to go out"

Are you modded besides suspension?

Don't worry about your exhaust, it's not related to fuel pump problem...

All BMW dealer should know that the fuel pump is the 335i Achilles' heel...

S4...sounds like it's starting...but the wait is not as bad now, they are slowly starting to catch up on supply and demand...

I was in the same position as you S4to335. I just got my fuel pump installed yesterday after 2 months wait. My car has the hard start(long cranks up to 3 secs) as well and now the issue is fixed at the moment.
