left lane the passing lane?

How many of you guys drive on the NJTP? I drive on it every weekend. There are always some stupid slow drivers on the left lane going like 60MPH and blocking traffic while the speed limit is 65. I thought the left lane was suppose to be the passing lane... what ever happened to that? the sign specifically said "KEEP RIGHT, PASS ON LEFT". Some drivers actually step on the breaks before they reach 65 on the passing lane, even though there are no cars infront of them. It got me really arrogated today, I was on the left lane behind this stupid car going like 60... and this huge ass truck pull up next to me going the same speed. So I was stuck in between the huge ass truck and this stupid slow ass car infront of me, and I couldn't even change lanes. My car was shaking while I was next to the truck. This lasted for like 10 mins. I mean if you want to drive at the speed limit, then get off the focking passing lane and let others pass! sry for the long post, I just felt like sharing this with u guys.

Better to vent here than on the road. If only drivers were more sophisticated and respectful while on the road things would be fine, but many are simply oblivious to their surroundings, and cell phones don't help either.

I used to think that California drivers were among some of the most courteous and savvy drivers until the number of people and cars dramatically increased. Now it's almost impossible to drive here without running into some sort of traffic.

I know exactly what you are saying, NOTHING brings out the psycho in me more than this. And they give you this self righteous glare in the mirror like they are perfectly within their right to f**ck up your day!

Just jealous people that don't like others going faster than them, or they are daydreaming in their own world and shouldn't even be on the road, or just plain nasty or whatever.

These sort of people cause accidents because they frustrate the living hell out of others who then drive angry afterwards, or take risks to get around them.

In Oz the cops would have given them a ticket for blocking the lane.

lol.. I didn't use high beam. The last time someone high beam my gf, he got pulled over by a cop behind him. So I didn't want to high beam him/her not knowing if there was a cop nearby, and I don't want him/her to get blinded and crashed. If that car crashed then theres a high chance that I will hit the truck that was next to me as well.

Consider arming your vehicle with forward-facing rocket launchers – I’ve thought about that many, many times.

This doesn't only happen on the NJTP. It happens everywhere.

I've noticed most of these "special drivers" are with PA or NJ plates, especially with beat up cars. God, I hate PA drivers! No offense for the 'normal' PA drivers though!

It's just a statement of the lack of manners and civility in today's world. I'm no lead foot, but that is one of the things that makes me crazy too. I also agree with Jamie that these people cause accidents more than speeders because they get you so frustrated you'll try anything to get around them.
