Damn sorry to hear man. Karma will catch up to those guys who did this.

I highly recommend North Shore Collision Centre in Artarmon. I recently had a car repaired through them and their professionalism and quality was top notch. Swing past their shop to check it out... the workshop is filled with BMW's and other euro's. I know a few members on here have had their cars repaired by them also.

I'm a bit lost for words that someone can just set fire to your car like that. I feel so sorry this happened. Hopefully NRMA will look after you well.

That does suck. There is no way they will try and fix a fire damaged car. Good luck with the outcome OP.

I will definitely check it out if they decide to repair my car.
It will probably take more than 8 weeks to repair and my hire car option only cover me for 3 wks....

Thanks guys. I hope they will honor me with a brand new car.
The only worry is they can't find one locally and just try to pay me out at market value....

Sorry to hear this man. I am Seriously thinking people must hate BMW owners because we seem to be the ones that get hit and runs and vandalism the worst.

Damn sorry to hear that. If NRMA decides to write it off, you'll get the cheque within a week... but you might have trouble getting insured with them again depending on your age - no biggy lots of other cheaper insurers out there anyway.

If they decide to fix it make sure you push for complete replacement of all interior lining and trim - good luck

NRMA contacted me this arvo and decided to write the car off.
They will come up with a market value tmr.
I will probably won't agree that value and request a new replacement car.
The only problem is mine is a 320D sport edition and I doubt that they can find another one is AUS. However, I have reviewed my insurance contract and I found that they put down "BMW 320D Executive Sedan". Will they replace me a executive sedan instead of a Sport edition?

Hope they don't replace you with just an executive sedan!

Do insurers ever pay out agreed value because they're usually too high?

I'm with NRMA agreed and they didn't offer market value option

Good luck to the OP, hope they replace it man. Would suck with no car and a lease debt all because of some fucker!!

Yes they do. They honour the insurance option you select. The higher value is reflected in your premium.

Still no word from NRMA.
If they replace with a brand new 2011 executive 320d, how much can I sell that for?

Should be happy with that. Now you can put down a deposit on a new F30.
