I am glad I waited from early this year because a fully loaded 2011 was just over 65 mSRP to get what I wanted, I saved over 6k on this and got way more then I could have expected.

Just my 2 cents.
+1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking to buy my 128i (which I fully loved and I think I'll miss the sport suspension and go-kart feel), trade it in next year when the new 335 xdrive would have been available...but when I've seen this on bimmerpost back in July, within 3 days my 1000$ deposit was down...been waitin' since!!!

Garage List
2011 BMW 335i  [0.00]
Took delivery of mine this evening.
Jerez Black
Executive Package
6MT

The car is very similar to my previous 2008 335i in many ways but it feels different in some ways too.
Pedal heights seem to be set up differently so heel/toe down shifting will take some getting used to. Previous car's pedals were set up perfectly.
Suspension feels less taught. Previous car was RWD with sport suspension which conveyed more of the road to the wheel and the seat.
New car is less susceptible to tram-lining. Previous car would try to follow every line in the pavement.
Clutch engagement feels soft. Previous car's clutch had more snap when it engaged.

The performance exhaust is awesome.
Still in the breakin phase so haven't explored the power and torque yet.

Can't wait to get it on the track next spring.

Cheers

Can you share more details? Seems like they are giving you 6k+ in discounts. The price that you were quoted is very low. If you have a written quote, jump on it because the new car will definitely be more money and you won't get all the special features of this car.

Agree..if you got a quote for 54 on the fully loaded 335 SE, that is a sweet deal.

At the end of the day, taxes, freight, pdi, and all dealer fees was working out with a 10000 deposit, I was told the remainder to be financed was going to be 65000. 75000 seemed steep.

Actually I'm quite disappointed with mileage. I've got 3000km on it so far and still using >9.5l/100km on hiway. My last '08 with a Dinan flash was less than 7.5km/100l.
Not to mention less power. Really noticeable at upper rpms.
Granted my previous car was just rwd, so it should be getting better mileage.
I only posted, because this car gets significantly worse mileage than it should.

Finally Got Mine!!!!

So I took delivery yesterday after a LONG wait! (deposit was given in mid-july)

So got in Laval (supposed to be the biggest BMW dealership in whole country, and first M showroom in NA). Ghislain (great guy) greeted me and showed me the car right away...I just liked it instantly, the M pack with the colour just rocks! By the way this should be called jerez blue, not jerez black. During daytime, this definitely looks like a super dark shade of blue.

So afterwards we headed back to his office, took about 45 mins to sign all the paperwork (I was returning my 128i at the same time).

Then another guy showed me around the car (mostly Idrive), then he activated the bmw assist and sirius, which took quite a while altogether...Also the bmw apps didn't seem to work with my iphone 3gs, they had to give me the Y-cable (they wanted to sell it to me...100$, I asked firmly asked them to give it to me and they did).

And then we started it : when cold, the exhaust sound is soooo coool!!! It's really special...

The dealership seems to have done a good job on the tint and the clear bra (full front bumper and 16'' of hood).

I didn't get the badge, should be there within a couple of weeks...

So after 200 km (almost 90% city driving) heres my pros / cons :

Like :

-THE EXHAUST (just has to be heard)
-The steering wheel
-The wheels
-The colour (I like blue cars)
-The Cf leather trim
-The overall looks
-The car does not get attracted in the "tracks" in the pavement (I don't know how to write this in english), this was something I didn't like of my 128i sport pack, it was scary at time on bad roads.
-4 doors
-I like the feel of the xdrive under "hard" (not that hard yet) acceleration, you def. feel the car pulling AND pushing.
-The wheel gap doesn't hurt the eye as I thought It would
-Did I mention the exhaust???????????

Don't like (can't be perfect)

-I'm gonna miss my 128i sport suspension (but it does not feel like a tramway in cracks, as mentionned above)
-The Idrive will definitely take some time to get used to
-The piano black finish already has some swirls in it (dealership installed, they didn't seem to mess with the paint though). They should have given us the whole thing in CF trim.
-Can't find a good driving position yet (is the seat different from the coupes?)
-Can't tell about the power yet (break-in), but this car feels heavier compared to my 128i.
-The stereo is supposed to be the top of the line...I suppose I'll have to play with the settings cause with the Iphone, it sounds like sh1t!!! (3 persons noticed) (yeah I rode 5 different persons yesterday)
-Almos half of the tank is gone, for only 200km ???

Will keep you updated!

Here's a link to some picture (I tried to upload directly here, didn't work and I'm in a hurry).

For english folks "ENFIN" means "FINALLY" I printed the thing before leaving the office.

You'll see the paint looks blue with the flash.

I took pics of the exhaust and undercarriage, I don't know a lot about cars but does it look like they took out parts of the OEM exhaust and welded new parts?

No can do.

Our Software programming is not correct.

Basically what happened was that when the Power Kit 2 S/W was loaded, it messed up the connected drive.

Last I heard there should be some fix in November.

Apparently there is one member on here that just took possession and he has both S/W for power kit 2 and connected drive working.

Here's a couple pics of mine after Day 2.

Also, I thought the individual sound system sucked at first but I am pretty happy after I played with the EQ. Here are my settings:

Your car has iDrive, yet your steering wheel has "Change audio source" and "Recirculation" buttons on the right. Isn't an iDrive car supposed to have those re-programmable "Diamond" and "4-pointed star" buttons instead? Or am I missing something?
