what do u need to burnout on your 335i for... you could have damaged your car in those few attempts you tried.

That's why I went with the AT and paddles. I can hold my right middle finger out the sunroof and a checkered flag in my left hand out the window and roast 'em for blocks.

It seems like the OP is trying to warm the tires up on a dragstrip

Sorry..not into doing burnouts..wasting tires...and making a lot of noise that will make cops come. I prefer to not do the burnout and just accelerate fast.

I have never done it but I heard you raise the rpm to about 5k with it in first gear (only for a second), then drop the clutch and slam the brake pedal after a split second of pure gas. That should get the rear tires spinning before you put a load on the front brakes. I never do it but this is how I was "told" to do it, haha.

I mean, even so, wouldn't you be only warming up 1 tire at a time? Assuming you don't have LSD?

wouldnt the rear brakes kick in as well? I dont know how this works .... brakes holding car but tires spinning? how does it spin if the brakes are not supposed to allow it to spin :/

are you holding down the traction control button for 5 seconds, making sure the DSC is completely off, not just the traction control? this makes a HUGE difference in everything not just doing burnouts..

once the DSC is completely off, take the revs up to around 5-6k dump the clutch and immediately go to a 50-60% brake pedal all while holding the gas ALL the way down. alternate brake pressure to keep the revs up, if you press to hard, itll cut out throttle because safety nanny bs.
