Rally

Hey Guys,

I am going on my first rally in my e92. What are some good things to have while rallying. This is a time speed distance rally where everyone leaves 2 minutes after the other.

Also is there a chance of being involved in a group pullover because of people driving like a holes. That's my biggest fear at this point even though we are separated.

Thanks.

is this one of those you have to drive the speed limits on public road, and have certain time to cover certain distance (the time they gave you is based on driving at speed limit), the closest one to the official time, not fastest, win kind of thing?

Garage List
Used to run in this type of rally a thousand years ago out on Long Island NY with a pencil, paper, stop watches & a slide rule. They can be a lot of fun & quite challenging especially if you get lost & need to recover the time.

Sanctioned timed race with rules that specify following speed limits. The only group pullovers here would be the ones breaking the rules and they are usually kicked out of the event anyway. Haven't seen an event like this that attracted the attention of the local LEO in a negative way. Done it twice with the FCA as a fund raiser, the LEO was involved and there were zero shenanigans.

Sounds like fun.
I've been to a couple of TSD reallies in India.
Although the cars might get closer to each other, but i dont think it will be like neck to neck. you should be safe.

When I say sanctioned I don't think the police know about this but it isn't street racing.
