Smile [PICS] Arctic Metallic w/Matte Black Kidney Grilles

Give me your thoughts. Was thinking about keeping the top pieces on the hood matte black, and sticking the original grille pieces back. What do you think over all? Look cheap? I keep going back and forth with liking it and then not... your thoughts?

Take the lower section apart and put the chrome vertile sections back inside the black trim piece. That will look better than black hood piece and all chrome lower pieces.

In the first picture you can see the original grille. The other pictures have the all black. I dont have chrome vertical pieces. Did you mean replace the bottom portion with the original as shown in the first picture?

I think I am just going to go back to stock. Or put the two top pieces back to chrome. The arctic silver color looks classy to me, and I'm starting to think this matte black makes it not so classy.

Ahh, sorry, my bad. On my 07 E92 the center pieces are chrome tipped. Thought the sedan versions were the same. You need to keep the Outer Trim and Top ( hood) section the same color.

I think I will try the gloss black center with top pieces same color as hood as well as the outer trim on the center piece. For now, I have reverted back to the stock look.

I think it looks weird with that black on it. Thanks for the suggestions!

This. Everything colormatched to the car except for the slats. Looks the best on pre-LCI e90s. That's just my opinion, of course.
