Dual Climate Controls (can it be controlled on 1?)

hey guys,

i purchased a new 2009 335i a week ago, and just starting to get familiar with the car. is there a way to adjust the climate of the car by just using ONE dail rather than adjusting both dails (driver/passenger) sides?

rubberband them together. The new MY2010 and up get an "all" button that does it. it might be possible to use the new interface but I don't know if anyone has tried a swap yet.

Anything pre 2010 doesn't have the option directly (as mentioned above).

I'm pretty sure there is a thread on a retrofit, but when I had my 07, I just adjusted both one after the other...takes like 2s. :P

Yea, a simple function that my wife's TSX has but my car lacks.

and still urk'd that my IS250 (@$34k) has a backup camera, and the 335i (@$50k) doesn't.

Or, you could have gotten PDC. The fact that your car doesn't have it was a choice you made when you bought your car.

agreed. nothing major in subtle changes. and honestly just more an annoyance than anything else.

oh, there's definitely not even a close comparison on which is MORE fun to drive

just would have thought back up cameras, specially with a NAVI equipped car wouldn't be all that difficult.

Trade it in for a E46, then 1 dial does the whole car

My wife and I run at different temps and I notice the difference right away if I put my arm on "her" side. It is much warmer over there, plus she has the heated seat on max at all times.
