Can anyone who is about to flash post some information from INPA prior to flashing?
I am trying to determine a 'changelog' as it were for the stock transmission softwares, and hopefully find some other hidden goodies.

I need the following:

Original 'ZB No.' and 'Date' for EGS and DME/DDE modules from 'User Information Field' menu in Functional Jobs
Original 'Part No.' and 'SGBD' for EGS and DME/DDE modules from 'Identification' menu in Functional Jobs
Cable is on the way to me. No ETA according to post office.

Hey cn- do you think us tuned fellas stand to benefit more, or about the same from this TCU flash, vs. stockers?

Ofcourse...The modded folks are going to take full advantage because the shifts are much quicker and the response time of the gear change has decreased.. If you ever driven or been in a DCT then you would know what I am describing...The paddles shifters are more responsive too...Also when DTC kicks in, the power loss is not as severe as before without the flash, no cut of power felt really! The car also has predictable gear shifts in which if I can describe is the rpms hanging and your waiting for it to shift automatically in DS mode like before..I know you have heard many people describe this flash, but honestly you just have to get the flash and have seat time behind the wheel and you will understand...I dont know why your even deliberating on something like this...

if you have paddle shifters or have 'manumatic' shift lever (all of the e9x autos?) and actually use them, the flash substantially improves the drivability and feel.

if you spend all your time in D and drive like a grandma.... the flash substantially improves the drivability and feel.

win/win in any scenario

I was thinking it over long and hard... Is it worth it? Was it going to damage my tune? What about the tach problem? Will my transmission get screwed up?

I am here to tell you I am kicking my ass for not doing it sooner... It's night and day, all over again. Yes the D shifts quicker heck you drive 45 mph and your in 6th gear... That part will be hard to get use to... But I only use D on traffic jams... However the S1-S6 is wicked, crisp, clean shifts... and most important exponentially quicker.. My favorite is M1-M6 ... WOW... Precise shifts, powerful sustain torque, and overall feeling (indescribable)

Not to mention Rev matching while downshifting... Insanely addicting... Paddle shifting improved greatly as well..Today I drove the entire day windows down even though here in San Diego it wasn't a sunny day... Still i drove testing my new found present with no music, no kids, no wife, just purely enjoyed hearing the shifting sounds from my mods and car...

Just an FYI to the people doing this for local users, you can also do this remotely for anyone as long as they have an internet connection on the laptop plugged into their car.

www.teamviewer.com

Its free for personal use. I run this all the time on my home computers(for my media server it is always on). Any of them that are powered on can be connected to easily from another computer, phone or tablet. Hell, it runs on my parent's machine as I get sick and tired having to remove a virus once a month and having to drive out of my way to do so.

Anyone have questions about it, just ask.

Yes that is correct but the person would need to buy the D-can cable for remote coding..

Can you back to OEM if you have to bring it in for warranty service?
