Other than the intercooler, it's a common thing to see. I've seen so many damn M and AMG badges on 328's and C230's that I don't even bother looking at the driver anymore.

Might as well walk around with a big balled up sock in your pants while you're driving your 400lbs of boost monster. Sigh.

I think two things.

The guys english didn't seem good. Maybe he bought the car from someone and got fooled. I've seen it done before. I've had people claim they bought an exhaust and it gives them 50 hp >_>. Some people don't know about cars at all.

Or, he could be a poser. Who knows. Most of my friends can't tell a 128i from a 135i, even though there are many clear differences.

At least the guy was good about it.

Reminds me so much of the manager of the gym i go to, guy claimed to own a widebody e46 m3 with 1000 hp to the wheels, but when i got into specifics with him he ran back into his office. Everytime i see him now he always pretends to be on the phone!
