Well, the standard one we tried wasn't - Foot handbrake (wtf), gear leaver where the wipers should be and key turn to start the car. Not good on a 'premium' car. Looks like wifey wants another 5 series now!

What's wrong with the key? After all you are driving a car not a spaceship! Besides I bet the Mercedes gets pinched less that the bmw's daft fob!

Numerous reviews put the 2013 E class over F10 on interior build.

Column shifter? was it a 1975 model?

Don't know about other models but the e63 has push button start and keyless go, push button handbrake and a gear selector on the centre console!

it was the new facelift E250 Estate
Glad to hear the e63 has Auto gear lever in the right place..in fact all the things we moaned about in the right place! Sorry Wifey, if you want the merc it will have to be a E63

imo, the interior wasn't as good as the LCI F10, very hard to judge the build quality.
