I'm selling my One stop electronics cable. if any one wants it i took to long on the shipping, and i was able to get my MHD things working. so it brand new still in the shipping package
PM if anyone wants it i can ship same day if not next day. One stop electronics ships from over seas and take about 2 weeks if not more to get to you

Purchased my DCAN cable from EBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251791648964...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT OTG cable from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00 Device: LG G3 Lollipop Battery Charger: http://www.lowes.com/pd_595181-41462...&kpid=50256413 Got it this afternoon, it connected right off the bat. It took under 10 mins to back up the ecu. Currently, 30 mins left @20% completed rate on a full write. Make sure you take JB4 to map 0 and also a battery charger. I mistakenly read on another forum that the backup process took a couple of mins and initiated the proess without a battery charger, got to about 90% and error out. Went to Lowes and got the charger and the second back up zip by really fast. |

This cable didn't work. My Nexus 7 (2nd gen) detected the cable, and the cable lit up, but it could not read codes or ECU information.

Yeah, it has a white PCB. I was told the green ones are the ones that work best?

~$85 But appears to be usable like the OneStop unit, etc. Anyone tried this one? Not trying to clog the thread with those type of questions, but this one appears promising. |

I bought both the one-stop-electronics and the other suggested cable that wasn't cable-shack in this thread. Will update with info as soon as I get them. I will either return one or both, or if they by a miracle both work then I will resell one here.
Nothing against cable-shack or one-stop-electronics, I just want to see if it's possible to get a working cable for less than 50. |

Has anyone not had this one work? It seems like a lot of people are buying similar ones off amazon that aren't working, but I don't recall seeing someone saying this specific one doesn't work. It has a white PCB but worked great for me.

Yeah, I've been reading where the white boards don't work, but then again I've seen people link to the cable I did saying it worked for them too. It's just really hit or miss I suppose.

I was really worried about whether or not my cable would work, but I decided to bite the bullet and try one. Also, my tablet does not have the USB type A connection, so I needed a different adapter to go from female USB to ASUS transformer proprietary connection.
So far, no issues with reading stock ROM, codes, or logging, have not attempted flashing yet. my car is 09 335i auto with IJE0S DCAN cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00 adaptor from female USB to ASUS proprietary male for Transformer tablet: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00 I am pretty excited because I got this tablet a couple of years ago for Xmas and never found anything to do with it! I also really like the gauge setup and convenience of being able to email the logs from the car. |

looks like the 2ded is simply a confused computer code for when it's not sure why there's current being drawn. |

So i see a bunch of options here that may or may not work. Is there on cheaper cable that is known to work most of the time?
Is it this one? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00 |
