just drove the S5!!!!

I can say it is a BIG car compared to the 3 series. it just is so dame heavy it drives alot like my S4 but alot bigger. it was just ok did not have the fun factor of my 335.

Great looking car, but I'm not surprised. BMW's tend to taint the impression you have on any other vehicle you drive. They are just so damn fun to drive!

You can notice how heavy the car is in the Fifth Gear video. I thought it was going to tip over.

Its just a typical Audi heavy pig.

Have to admit..the seat are nice...saw three of the S5s at the Audi Experience at Infineon Raceway...black one..gray one..and red one.

Just saw one today at the dealer..The sexy pewter silver color..those wheels look dead sexy....Just a sexy machine..I am sure my 335 is much more fun to drive..Plus..there are tons of mods for the BMW...time will tell.

They base at $50,500 but comes with many features that are optional in the 335xi.

So after reading this thread, I went to my local audi dealership and sho-nuf there it was.

Man does it have a wide stance! The seats were surprisingly really firm compared to my 04 zhp. I love the interior and it made me fell comfortably snug. The back seats are a lot smaller than I expected, and the truck size is alright. I really didn't like the color of the rims. They were too "white" in color and not that machine steel color that you see in production photos. The doors shut fairly quietly and feel very light compared to my 04 that feels heavy and shuts prettly loudly like an old 1970's chevy haha. Man do those carbon fiber inserts looks amazing. I really didn't like the meteor gray color the car came in...wasn't flattering at all.

Also the steel colored bars in the rear and front bumpers look and shine like real metal and not plastic painted sliver, however I didn't touch them to determine the difference.

I know, I know this review is all over the place.

Overall very nice car, AND DEFINATELY a car that will turn heads at a light.

And no I didn't test drive it.

OK I just now got back from work, and on my way home...guess what I see 1/2 mile from the dealership on the road....a red s5

It was heading towards the direction of the Audi dealership, but the sales rep never made mention that they had a red one. Could it be that someone already bought one? It had normal tags on it, not 30 days.

And my oh my does it have a presense on the road. It gives you a "woah...what the heck is that over there." feeling. Something you usually say for ferrari's and lambos
