With alloy trim, flat it with a 600 wet and dry paper and then used an etch primer to ensure a good paint adhesion otherwise it will just peel off, once that had been done its just a matter of applying the gloss black around 4 coats and then a flat with 1200 w/d paper with a little soap being very careful not rub through the gloss paint finish and then a light rub with farecla g10 polishing compound, here are the results.
If anyone needs any wrap I have approx 8 metres x 4 inch 3m gloss black wrap tape available to buy pm if me interested.

So you polished by hand?

gaza01,
yes! you have to achieve a good finish from the can, no runs ect then light rub with 1200 w/d and light polish with a compound.

When I'm doing small parts like this I make up a little oven from a large cardboard box, make a hole in the side to fit a small hair dryer, pre-heat and put the parts inside to dry.

With all the dust in my garage they'd come out looking like a pair of Yetti Boots if I tried that

My CF wrap doesn't look too bad either, not as prone to scratches as paint etc.

it looks like suede in the daylight until it catches the light then the glitter shows up, as I said its one of a kind and not everybody will like it but that's what modifying is about I don't like carbon faker so had to find something differant

Damn, this is exactly what I was planning on doing.
I just know that it'll take me longer than a weekend to complete, and I can't drive around with a dismantled car lol.

Great job tho
MUCH better looking than a vinyl wrap.
