Dash board in perfect condition, only the passenger airbag deployed, causing it to rip.

shouldent be more then $100 to repair at an upholster.

$350 obo, retail is $708.76 on this.

preffer local, but willing to ship.

Not to be negative, but honestly, doing anything to that portion of the dash (like stitching or any kind of reinforcement) which is designed to tear and allow the airbag to deploy simply isn't very smart. For $700 I had an intact dash with an intact passenger airbag shipped to my house.

Hmm...I would take this but wondering if I were to re-upholster the dash with alcantara or even leather, how would the airbag deploy?

Probably just too expensive - I purchased a *new* one (for a deal, from the dealer) for around $500-something bucks...

How did you get it for so cheap? The dealers here are charging ~$750 for brand new ones.
