New turbos on my 335, Anything else?

Picked the car up last week and have been really loving it. Such a blast to drive and I finally grabbed a new cable and tossed my old 4 in there for some music.

From day one I thought I heard a rattle and after just some general reading I learned it is a common problem with the wastegate. Long and short of it I dropped the car off today for a walnut blast and new turbos. Anything else I should push for? Granted it has to be something I can finagle under warranty but I am still a bit green with these cars. 70K miles.

There is a little thunk with the suspension so I am expecting that to go away once I install new mounts front and rear. Past that things are going well.

Personally i'd be thrilled with new snails+valve cleaning for free, unless there's something pressing i'd call it a day there. Any other mechanical faults you can think of/identify? if so then of course bring that up, i'm talking about "little" things like airbag indentation etc.

Check your vacuum lines for leaks. Pretty common problem after 50k or so and it will suck the boost out of your car. =P

No it isn't (walnut blasting) and its a major PITA to get authorization through BMW to do it and get paid for it (on the tech side).. Unless you have a cold start misfire that isn't fixed from faulty fuel injection parts, or a misfire under heavy load/ low rpm then don't count on getting it done. Oh and you can go in complaining of it, but unless they can duplicate it or get faults out of the car then don't hold your breath.

And if that's ur e90 in the pic, I think I did the turbos on it lol

Well I have to give a big thumbs up to my first BMW service experience. Brad Massey was my SA and I believe a Tech named Mario did the work. Thanks for the reco on the vacuum lines, the tech noticed them my SA called and said they would not be covered but it would only be parts. I said go for it, he calls back to say the tech found some extra lines so it would only be $40 more, awesome. Pick the car up and guess what, they got the whole thing covered, new lines and the work on the turbos and new trunk struts, $50. Included 5 days in a new 328 loaner (missed the 335) and I can't be happier.

One thing I have to point out. I have NEVER seen a car come back from service without something off. Be it missing parts or the more common black smudge somewhere. The car was spot on.
