New painted engine cover

Guess this is in the right place? figured I would post pics of the new engine cover I just got from "sammy_0559". Only thing I changed was the overlays on the roundel. Really adds a lot to the engine bay. Best $50 I have ever spent LOL!!

Cool. Do you run with your cowel and cabin air filter off all the time? I like how you've zip tied everything back there, but you can't be doing your health and hvac system any favors, right?

Also what are those stainless steel lines in the front of your engine bay used for? Is that part of your meth kit?

if it doesn't rain it is off lol! I get no smell in the cabin at all. I also like the cooler oil temps.

Thats an awesome deal! I'm thinking of getting mine painted in metallic red from my local bodyshop

Quick question: Do your BC Racing Coilovers make clicking noises in the front when you turn your steering wheel ?

If not, what do you think could be the problem with mine?

see if there is marks on your control arms.....your end-links may be hitting them.

Is it just me or is the last thing that engine bay needs is more stuff? Looks cluttered and sloppy IMHO, but to each their own.

I was JUST looking at doing this last night. The 1 series guys have done a lot of this. I really like this one:

Dont want do that on a non-M car, so I'm thinking about doing Montego blue (like yours) but with the standard roundel, white on the outer engine cover stripes and M-colors on the middle three, similar to this one...
