LOW BOOST 15-16psi, No Meth FFTEC /VISHNU 62 SINGLE KIT 6mt

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QetCw...layer_embedded

Shitty video i know, But at least it's something for you guys to check out, i'll have some more up shortly NOT takin by a cell phone and with some more detail. Don't have the upgraded stage 3 spec clutch in yet because i had just replaced OEM under warrenty at 50k so im using it up, once i upgrade the clutch, i'll install the meth and 2-step, then it's time for some real fun. Amazing kit though, Installed myself in under 12 hours qouted install time. Great job FFTEC/VISHNU.

FFTEC/VISHNU single 62/62 VF700 kit
quad nozzle Vishnu meth kit "not installed yet" tapped for it though.
Quaife LSD, Full H&R race coils, M3 subframe bushings
upgraded FMIC
AA BOV/ charge pipe, and vishnu charge pipe, not sure which i'd like to use yet, as of now, AA is still in.
Procede REV 3 single turbo Software
SPEC stage 3 Clutch on the way.
AEM 3.5 BAR MAP sensor
44 external waste gate with dump tube to atmosphere, some people love it, some hate it, I LOVE it!
straight pipe exhaust turbo back, to two magnaflow mufflers.

More video's on the way, along with some dyno pulls, once clutch is installed.

Congrats. Beautiful kit. I'd love to see one tuned by someone else though for some direct comparisons.

Thanks guys, ahh man you're going to LOVE it, honestly feels like a mid range supra, but with all the luxury you could want, And yes it would be interesting to see one of these setups tuned by someone else, BUT it is very very tricky to do so, you must know your shit with how to tune a vechical such as the 335. And Shiv does very well know.

What is up with that turbine side? Is the cut and welded area for the wastegate? Seems as if that would really effect flow going into the turbine wheel.

Under 12 hours? Nicely done. I can't imagine how much faster it would be the next time around.

yes, for wastegate, actually from what i've read about that, it's one of the best spots for boost release out of the turbine housing, apparently how a lot of boosted race, drift, cars run there turbos.

Haha yeah, basically just posted that so people knew it could be done and it's not difficult at all, as long as you have a basic understanding of how to install the kit.

Interesting, I was just a little shocked as that is the first time I have seen that.

Your stock clutch will slip right away, the clamping force is just not there for this kit. When I pulled out my stock clutch it looked great, but it was slipping with just the FlexFuel Kit.!

Why did you only wrap half of the exhaust manifold? The kit comes with plenty of wrap for the entire manifold...and thats the best place to utilize it to keep temps down underhood and your engine cover from melting.

Congrats on the kit. I too am running the VFF700 no meth at the moment. What PSI are you running right now?

Im with this guy. You didn't seem to wrap where it would be most effective - the entire manifold The idea is to focus all of the heat/energy into the turbine, as well as keep underhood temps DOWN.

Take it easy on back to back pulls, that manifold will be glowing red ...

Anyways - Congrats on the install and getting the car going! I know its not an easy task!!

Yes, you guys are both correct, i'm not sure what i was thinking NOT wrapping the full manifold, i gues after 3 hours of sitting in a chair trying to do just that so it wouldnt look like shit was long enough, then i looked at the center area, and thought i have no idea how im going to wrap that and it not look like shit, BUT its right where the plastic valve cover meets the alum head, so yes before i get that thing red i will NEED to wrap it, ANYONE that has not yet installed kit, NOTE this, and wrap full manifold no matter what.

Actually surprising enough, on low boost, no meth my clutch is not yet slipping, only had clutch installed around 10k ago under warrenty, so its very new, BUT yes i know what you mean, it just feels soo weak, and lose, it's hard to explain if you havent felt your self. But new one will be in shortly. stage 3 spec.
