I'm willing to buy an SSTT for $400. I'm not in a hurry to buy, as I'm not in a hurry to install one. I can get one for $500 new, but don't want to pay so much. Please let me know if anyone is parting from one or is willing to sell one for other circumstances. I'm in NYC, so I can pay in cash for anybody in the near area.

Nobody has contacted me. I think its a fabricated bullsh!t story that somebody is selling them new for $500.

I bought another forum guy's 60 day old SSTT for $460 -- includes shipping from CA to MD. I'm cool with that.

Just a little advice to those looking to sell these things.....just post a picture of it with a recent newspaper or something. in your for sale thread. Its not that we don't know what it looks like, it just gives would be purchasers the comfort that you do in fact have one in your possession for sale.

I inquired about one that was for sale and asked for pictures of it in a PM and the response I got was "it looks just like the one from their website"....sorry folks that ain't gonna do it for those looking to send you $400-500 for an item they don't even know whether you possess.

I agree, I won't buy one without noticing the condition of the item. I'm not in a hurry to buy one, unless the price is right and I see pictures of the product first. It just gives you that piece of mind, which is what you'll get when you buy it new with warranty at $525 from several sites on the web.

i can confirm that price... i jsut ordered one new. it not advertised but if you pm them... they will work something out for you.
