A month in and well and truly loved up!

Well I've had my 320d M Sport for a month now and I have to say I am well and truly in love with the car. Although it was 13 months old it still has the new car smell and I would hardly call 6500 miles a 'used' car! I thought I would share a few impressions with you having come to BMW from Seat!

I can't believe its diesel thumb that big start button and it idles with a very un-diesel like clatter once warm it just feels more and more like a petrol with a linear smooth power delivery, and by god its nippy when you open the taps fully.

I love the way the rear drive hunkers down in the corner and really fires you out into the straight.

I love the fact the car is so tactile from the LEDs in the door handles to the knobs for the climate and the touchy feely dashboard.

I Love the bing bong of the warnings

I love the sound the stereo makes through the bass speakers below the seats (I know many have complained about this but you wanna drive a Leon if you think this is bad!!!!!)

And above all else I love the way it looks, The wheels low in the arches the splitter at the front and back the sculpted side skirts.

I just can't resist that little look back when I've parked and locked it up!

Perhaps I should get a room!!!!

You know, it's a funny thing. Even after the worst day at work (and their are a few!) I just get into my car, take the top down (weather allowing!) and just drive. I feel better right away... an amazing car.

I honestly have never loved a car so much

Thanks mate, yes I do keep it quite clean I'm a civil engineer so its either filthy from site or covered in salt (coastal engineer) so I'm fastidious with my cars! I also had shine and protect applied.

I haven't driven her hard yet still getting used to her and my commute is mainly motorway but I plan on getting re-aquainted with some of the fabulous roads we have int north!

I may chip it at some point for wiping the smug smile off those hot hatch drivers! Watch this space!!!!

Lovely car btw! I have a 06 320d, (stock 163bhp) and i can honestly say that having it chipped to circa 195bhp was the best £375 i've ever spent, and i knew absolutely zilch about these things beforehand.
