Also, I've been exposed to some new stuff (specifically AWOLNATION and Foster the People) lately only because I listen to the radio. Without that, where do I pick up on new bands and music? Word of mouth?
I listen to Bonaduce on my way to work. I find it entertaining. Oh well, iPod on the way to work now.

So you'll pay for a BMW, pay $100-$200/mo for cable/internet, but won't pay $10/mo to get over 100 channels of commercial-free music and exclusive entertainment. Wow.

So how do you come across the music that you put on your ipod? Or do you just put the same songs on shuffle?

What do you base this on? You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but this sounds like a statement of fact.

Wow, what? Not worth a monthly fee & the cost of the receiver to me. If it is to you, great. We all value things differently.

I can stream internet radio for free & I have a library of plenty of music & I'm always adding to it.

These Sirius stations play the same stuff over & over anyway.

They do? Odd, guess in almost 10 years I have yet to catch on to that.

Congestive heart failure due to clogged arteries from all that Pizza they ate.

OK, well at least you gave me an answer. Because I thought you were possibly putting-up with commercial FM radio.

Free Internet radio is the answer.

Isn't "free" another way of saying "commercial"? And what about getting new music?
