Plow horror stories- who's got the worst one?!?
Last year, we got a LOT of plow truck damaged cars, and I personally saw a lot of close calls yesterday.
What's your plow truck horror story?? How bad did they snow you in? Hit your car? Etc? |

It was actually pretty damn cool when the PLow truck came through. Their was about 5feet of snow on my street and he was going about 20mph and the snow looked like a huge avalanche.....Pretty cool.

Yeah, my boy in Astoria just sent some pics and his block looks like the North Pole (or how I imagine the NP at least) lol
Right? Like I said, last year we fixed a lot of cars that received damage courtesy of the plows. Almost all of them woke up to a nice suprise and, of course, no note. |

one of the worst things you can do is leave your car on the side of the road during a blizzard..imagine all the snow, salt, cars out of control, plows, etc that can damage it...a lot of ppl have no choice tho

My boss hasnt showed up to work yet. His block is still unplowed and he cant get out of his driveway. 3-4ft drifts across the entire street and they havent even made one initial pass since it started snowing Sunday.

A good friend of mine hit a garbage man with his E21....I still have the "I just hit a garbage man" text. The one garbage guy waived him around and before he knew it, the second garbage guy stepped out in front of him. He quickly swerved but the old school metal bumper clipped the guy.

Guy who I hired to plow out my long driveway and do my sidewalks got his AWD stuck up on a snowbank with the back out in the street and the front on my driveway and neighbor's lawn. Took him an hour to dig it out.
Update 01-01-2011: Now that that the snow has melted, I see that he gouged out a large part of my neighbors lawn, but none of the plantings. Need to get him back in APril to fix it. Last edited by NJ335iCnv; 01-01-2011 at 03:04 PM.. |
