DVD/reverse camera install
has anyone here installed one of these kits themselves in our oz spec cars?
how did it go? seems pretty good value for $500 or is there something better now? http://modmynav.com/package.html |

I have Xcarlink for sale unused
I have an xcarlink unit unused (Similar unit) for sale $250 Xpress posted anywhere in Australia. It allows you to add 2 x (PR Stereo) Audio and 2 x video inputs into CCC I drive system. It also has dedicated input for reverse camera. I was going to use it to add a DVD Stacker and Ipod I have added extra wiring to the loom to enable me to add an another Aux socket (As these units require to use the one already in the centre console and I didn't want to tap into it) I also have an unused Camera which replaces a Number plate light (Also unused) for additional $40. Ive now decided to fit a CIC Head unit in my car so I wont be going on with this project.
let me know if interested Cheers Gerry 0411 184 433 |

I dont trust myself to install anything thats not totally plug & play - i dont have the time basically.
I just want something thats P+P & that i can watch dvds with the factory head unit & maybe have a reverse camera - and not have to buy anything else. will yours do that? |

I saw this in another post and it seems very nice.
Not sure on costs or installation but maybe worth investigation. http://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw-...em-integration [u2b]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WYUNJzHAXRk[/u2b] |
