hehe...I don't really want the nav. I like the simple business like look of the non nav cars.

However, all the postive words means I will not hesitate to buy a car with nav if it has the other required features.

I had nav in my Infiniti and would not have one without it because you have a screen whether you have nav or not. On the BMWs no nav=no screen so I'm cool with that.

I wouldn't buy any car anymore without a navi...

I'm finished with those ugly power cords and the fact that the thing is alsways low on battery when i need it...

The resale of the car is also better...

And it looks so nice...

Please lock this thread, since I don't have navi, I think my car lost 4k in value according to it (resale)

(seriously how do you get red light cam alerts with the factory navi)

Navigation does add a bit of wow factor. Although there are some cars I would pass on Nav. If they aren't very intuitive and won't allow me to operate it while driving I don't like it. Most told me to pass on navigation since BMW is about the driving experience but my TL had Nav and I couldn't go back although the TL is light years ahead of the BMW as far as ease of use and its very simple to operate the hands free.

Get the navi as it can play DVD movies! That alone will sell me. Get the car with navi and have it coded to be able to play movies on the go. Video in motion can be coded by any shop or independent coder.

Didn't know that thanks! I just tossed in a DVD to verify and it works. Now I have something else to do when I arrive to work early.

I think the hump looks a lot better than the new design, which looks like an ipad just sitting there on your dash.

Get the nav, you won't regret it.

Nav is a great to have if you can find it.
On the other hand, Sport package is a *MUST*. Don't buy a car without it.

A BMW is incomplete without the Nav, IMO.

If your car is not coded then you can only watch DVD movies while in park or handbrake is on. If you want to watch it while driving, well not you but your passenger, then all you need is coding done to your CIC module and you can watch away whenever!

I totally love my iDrive and Nav. Other BMWs without them look so cheap and lacking IMHO.
