What US websites are the best and reliable to buy watches besides from vendors on Amazon who am assuming are reliable? Lots of fake watch websites out there.

There is a great thread on another site regarding watches, one of the long time posters on both that site and this one is a dealer so may be able to hook you up.

I'd love a Ulysse-Nardin but my Mrs would divorce me if I bought one. I'm really going to miss her

You might have seen the sticker for the site on my car.....

The 35k Ulysse-Nardin? Maybe you will need to debadge the watch to look like the 5k Ulysse-Nardine to keep your wife. Rivenscyr, don't get ideas, u can't keep a white gold Rolex low key from your folks, is that the white gold submariner?

Wopalx, who's the guy you referring to? Was looking at a Longines to gift my brother, is already reduced on Amazon, does he only deal with higher end ones?

Personally I would not buy a watch online. It is just FAR too risky. I do have a watch for everyday of the week though. And then the following week too. And a few more leading into a 3rd week. Obviously not all are $$thousands but there are a couple of nice ones thrown in. Currently wearing a watch my Grandfather gave me 1971 Omega Seamaster. PITA though as its wind-up and seemed to me to be gaining time over the course of a full wind up. Just had it serviced last month though and now its running sweet as! Rivenscyr has seen a couple of my other good ones and is wearing an old Omega too IIRC? Not a Rolex fan myself though, too poncy and there are just so many fake wearers out there who know nothing about watches apart from Rolex name. One of my friends at school had a "Breitling Emergency." I found it funny that the digital displays didn't work and the band seemed to be flaking its plasticky topcoat.

Anyway, forget the 50Cent style bling bling $3mil watches, anyone care to split the costs of a Patek Philippe? Ideally 7 ways so we can have 1 day each.

Gosh you just like gold don't you? It reminds me of tacky hotels with gold everywhere (with some red thrown in etc..). Quite a few of which are located in china.

Check out this guys review, very entertaining and I can see why, with a vocabulary like that, he can surely buy this watch

Quote:
By Dorian Edwards (BOWIE, MD, US) - : IWC Men's IW504207 Portuguese Tourbillon Myst?re Watch (Watch)

Initially I hesitated because the price was far too low and I had deep misgivings concerning the workmanship of this timepiece. But upon purchasing it I found it to be quite remarkable in every way. Not only are souls of deceased popes, prophets and kings embedded into this watch but it constantly maintains simultaneous two-way connections to Buddah, Jesus, the Prophet Mohammed, and Moses. It makes intergalactic travel a breeze and it definitely holds up to the wears and tears of traveling light-speed between uncharted quasars. This watch, however, is far from perfect. It allows for only 80 simultaneous rifts in the space time continuum severely limiting both time travel capabilities and dark energy manipulation. Moreover, while this watch can instantaneously transform itself into a living breathing Megan Fox completely subject to your will, there is far too much grass on the field for any civilized gentleman. I would've returned it but one of the third world infants we use as Christmas tree ornaments happened to free herself and managed to zap herself into a parallel existence. I say good riddance to them both!

Well uleh! I have my Tag Sea racer Limited ed for everyday and have just recently been gifted dads Rolex Submariner as his gold Rolex has finally arrived. Now i'm looking for another submariner with part gold on it.

When are you going to organise your submariner?

Yallah lets do it! I would get mine from Milan Rolex shop though, got a connection that can get me a decent discount.
