Upgrading HU with L7

Alright, so I know you can\'t upgrade your HU and keep the L7 amp. So if I replace that with a aftermarket amp (which I was going to do anyway) will my HU and speakers still work fine with out errors?

And aftermarket HU and amp will work.

But there are side effects to your car from removing the stock head unit.

The title of your thread is confusing because it doesn't state aftermarket head unit.

Yes I realize that I will lose chime and my car can not be updated. I plan on relocating my OE HU later on. But will everything still work if I add a aftermarket amp and my aftermarket HU?

SOS won't work

Anything attached to the Most Bus won't work.
People do this, did if you read the dynavin links and that link I gave you on changing the head unit it will be pretty much like that.

If you have SOS you will get a permanent SOS error on the dash till you reinstall the OEM head unit according to the mount the radio in the trunk link.

you still haven't really answered my question, will it work without relocating the OE HU? What i want to do it replace the L7 amp with a aftermarket amp and just wire my stock speakers into that. Cause i got the aftermarket HU to get power and work just no sound.

yes it will work as far as putting out sound

And yes your car will run .
Do you have the ability to do any research yourself?
Can you read things and reach conclusions?
