Damn! I knew I should have went through the Grampians when I was in VIC last.
Would you mind sharing the route with me the next time I decide to drive down from NSW? =) |

Awesome weekend, with a great bunch of people...
Special thanks to Vu and Vince for organizing and to all the wives and partners for coming along, made it one of the best cruises ever Headed off from McD in Melb and onto the campsite for the night... Early next morning, off to the cafe for breakfast, before a drive through the mountains, a couple of hikes, a blast through the twisties to Horsham and back to Melb.... Looking forward to the next one, which I hope will be soon My pics below... enjoy |

Thanks for the kind words Socks, and nice photos!
Well, it was an absolutely fun filled weekend! Firstly wanna say thank you to the entire crew that came out (all the familiar faces) and their big sense of an adventure, you guys made the event awesome It's the reason why I enjoy organising these events so much. Secondly thanks to all the lovely ladies who came out and added the fun factor into the trip (Claudia, Misty, Dani and Sonja) definitely a much more incredible and loving experience when your partner wants to cruise along and be the co pilot! This certainly made the event more unique, rather than just a bunch of blokes standing around talking about their cars all day. Hope it's the start to a new change for the future! Thirdly, to The team at Yoda Motorwerkes for sponsoring the event and navigating us through the beautiful Grampians you're a legend Vince. Highlights of the event: A. A few good drag runs along the way (space grey made us look like bicycles) B. Destroying the Ego of a particular Mercedes driver C. Improvising on a broken outdoor bbq (hold my beer, takes out three frying pans in the kitchen and we got ourselves an indoor bbq!) D. Pete's delicious big ass Kransky! E. Game night with UNO Jenga (socket took the gong for most failures and slammed down a fair few shots) old school StreetFighter on the mini snes, and again sockets hilarious answers to scattergories ( I'm still pissing myself from some of his answers) F. Waking up at 4.30am to watch the Champions league finals and ended up with a free tank of petrol due to a wager G. The beautiful breakfast at the Old bakery. H. The hikes up the mountain and waterfall to breathtaking sceneries of the Grampians (I still can't feel my legs! ) I. The amazing drive through the twisties on the mountains (bucket list ticked off) J. The memories I have with the amazing people will never be forgotten. Stay tuned for more photos to come! |
