Geezz for the money and preformance the Caddy is pretty sweet.. Same with the New camaro. Too bad I cant stand the interior . If the Caddy interior is up to snuff I might have to trade up..

CTS-V is impressive. You can probably buy one used in the late fall for 40k....they don't hold value for $hit.

GM definitely made some improvements, but it's not the battle they need to win to survive.

The CTS-V is the hands down winner in terms of value. The price difference is significant enough IMO that you would have to be the ultimate brand whore, or have tons of cash to blow on a toy to chose the M5 over it. Stock for stock performance aside what is left over from the CTS-V you could easily fix the small flaws they were ranting about. I personally think the M5 looks too bland in stock form. I have driven one before and I loved it, but if I were to spend that kind of coin I would want people to KNOW what it was. Buy a Galant VR-4 if you want a sleeper.

Too different to compare the two? The price diff vs the performance diff is precisely why these comparisons exist. You realize that right?
That's like saying you can't compare the Nissan GT-R to supercars that it crushes that are double it's price. |
