2007 E92 335D Oil
Hey guys,
I am looking to provide my own oil for a service that is due, what is it i need to look for? Does it need to be the Castrol Edge 0w30 Professional? It's about £85 for 8 litres on ebay, making it £10.60 a litre vs the dealers £18+VAT per litre. IF not, what other oil should I get? I have a warranty that I want to keep. On my E46 i just got Mobile 1 from costco that was LL01 and the dealers were happy to use that. Cheers Tom. PS How leniant are BMW on their service schedule? IE if I go over the count down by a few hundred miles will it invalidate the warranty?

Few hundred shouldn't matter.
Just tell your dealer to match the price of what you can get the oil for or say you will bring your own. They usually comply.
