Mount and Balance
Hey guys. I'm about to get my VMR V710s mounted and balanced on Hankook Evo Ventus V12s. I had a friend tell me to make sure I got them road force mounted and balanced. I called Discount Tire Co. and they said this road force procedure costs an additional 25 dollars per rim. What exactly does the road force procedure do? The guy at discount tire co. explained it as a very long procedure to make sure the tires and rims are lined up perfectly, or something like that anyway lmao. Is this worth the extra 100 dollars, or should I just get a regular mount and balance?

Does no one have any idea? I was hoping to get them mounted today so quick feedback would be much appreciated.

Road Forcing a wheel/tire package does minimize any kind of radial or lateral balance problems the package may have that normal Non-road force cannot detect. This means that you'll have a less chance having a out of balance wheel/tire setup using this method.
If you can find a shop locally who can do it for a good deal, I would highly recommend getting it done. -Charles@VMRWheels

I'm getting my new tires mounted and balanced tomorrow. The road force balance will be an additional $40 total. I've had vibrations around 50-60mph and a tire shop was never able to correct it 100%. I'll let you know tomorrow if it's worth it. I think the average price is around $10-25 per tire for road force balance around were I live.
