iDrive Question (New iDrive)

Hey,

Anyone know if there is any diff. between functionality on a 320i iDrive to the 335i iDrive? This is the '09 iDrive.

Idrive is identical in the entire E9X line.

well overseas they also have the "professional" and "business" iDrives.

Business iDrives is still the same old system from 08, which is essentially the same as last-gen iDrive Professional but with a smaller screen and lack a sat-nav system. The professional version is the new system with the completely revamped interface and updated software that runs on from harddrive rather than a DVD.

overseas i think 328 and lower models get the business idrives, which i believe is still the older version.

the 09 (in the US) has the new iDrive

Ja but the OP asked about the "new iDrive" and the only "new iDrive" is the Professional version, not the Business version. So within the context of the OP's question, the answer is "no."
