Independent BMW Shop in ATLANTA?

Hello everyone.
I took my e92 to BMW service yesterday and they told me my transmission fluid is leaking and they quoted me about $1000. (the car is out of warranty).

Im thinking about ordering the parts on my own and take it to independent mechanic. Do you guys recommend any shop that does good work with fair price?

Thank you

Is it just leaking from the pan? If it's a pan replacement and re-fill with fluid, I can take care of that for you.

Dealer showed me car on the lift, and it was little bit wet looking on the bottom of the car. Not sure how long this has been, and dealer told me, 1 tea spoon of transmission oil was dropping per week. And I should take care asap, because once it runs out, it would cost $6,000 to fix.

Talk to Jordan or Brent, tell them that Matt Joos sent you... they're one of the more reputable independent BMW shops in Georgia along with TRM(Suwanee) and Harrisons (Alpharetta). They rebuilt my e36 M3 track-car and it's been excellent. They're hourly rates for labor are cheaper than TRM and Harrison's and their quality exceeds.

I've had good experiences with Autobahn Motor Works in Woodstock as well.

I second Joosy's referral to Technica Motorsports. They will do it the right way the first time.

Great work. Great prices and they get you in and out.

Just had a complete brake job there - front and back(pads, rotors, sensors).

Ask for Boris
