Side note:
I coded car with carly to lock doors upon engine start. Apparently that ALSO means that if the engine is already on and you open the door to go grab something and shut the door. The doors will AUTO LOCK. I am at the restaurant right now with my to go order eating it on my trunk of my car as I type this. Inhaling exhaust fumes from the catless DP's Lesson learned.

Oh that sucks big time!
I coded this to my friends car and he did the exact same, got out to show his dad his newly coded AE DRLs and closed the door! Thankfully it was summer so the window was open |

Locksmith put a "bladder" inbetween the body and the window of driver side door using a plastic crow bar. He then inflated the bladder with air and stuck a long coat hanger in the car and hit the unlock button.
took him 50 seconds. It was scary to watch him work. But we got in. And he didn't scratch anything.

I bought this app today and have been coding a few things without any issues.
However I can't get the 'Corner Light' mod to work. I set it to 'not active' and the orange corner lights are still on with headlights. I see that it mentions 'led' is this for LCI cars only? Mine is pre-lci and the corner light appears to be a standard bulb, not an led. |

Anyone know what the module and parameters for activating audible lock/unlock are on a 2008 (with alarm) e92?
Thanks

You have to have the actual speaker for it to even work. A lot of bmw's don't have the speaker. It was an option.

I actually figured out the corner lights thing, on US cars you need to change "Sidemarker" to off to turn off the orange lights in the headlights, not "Corner Lights". They should really make this clearer...

Yes when the welcome lights come on I have the AE, front and rear fogs come on. Happens when I hit the unlock button on the fob.

No. It's not that advance. It does basic codings.
You can see what is possible on their site: http://support.mycarly.com/knowledge...t-is-possible/ Btw. if you code your car with the engine running, you are significantly reducing (if not completely eliminating) the chance of bricking the FRM. So, do all the codings with engine running. |
