Sukh's E92 330d
Hi Folks,
Just a quick intro, recently purchased a E92 330d joined up here so to get the relevant info for a few mods the car needs. Main priority at the moment is the sounds....omg how pants is it and secondly to get rid of these runflats killing the handling! Long term plans are not too major as I have brought this mainly for work purposes my daily commute has increased significantly and doing 600-700 miles plus a week in an M3 was unfeasible Future plans probably extend as far as performance rear spoiler front splitter (akrym sp?) New alloys (if they are cracked at tyre change) Pic of the car (sellers photo) Black red leathers m-sport etc ccc/nav etc Old car after 5 years of ownership is sorely missed might I add So guys, need a hand with sounds. Who can fit this locally (west midlands) I've read a few post on the technical section that its not straight forward when the car is spec'd with ccc? thanks in advance, Sukh |

So had few hours spare yesterday which is a rarity these days!
So I decided make a start on cleaning the interior. Seats in question... As you can see the leather has ingrained dirt giving darker shiney colour. Chemicals/ cleaners of choice And for the trim/plastic areas So with the help of my trustee steam cleaner and Meguires interior brush I set to work for a couple of hours. 50/50 shot of driver side seat. A few from this morning after they have time to dry out A couple of areas I will be addressing over the next couple of days with the red scuff master dye. Will also be conditioning the whole interior and steam cleaning the carpets and going over the trim again. I really rate the poorboys trim cleaner/dressing leaves the plastic areas looking matte which I prefer to high sheen. Will update with whole interior pics once done. How easy is it to take out the rear shelf? Want to dye it black opposed to the grey is now. Any links guidance much appreciated 👍 Thanks. Last edited by Sukh Singh; 07-10-2016 at 12:15 PM.. |

Cheers mate, I diluted the gliptone cleaner with warm water the used that with the interior brush to scrub the seats down. Went over it again as needed - mainly the driver seat was the worst and needed going over twice. Quick going over with steam cleaner and the wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth. Came out factory fresh, my crappy iPhone pics don't do it justice! |
