You also need winter tires for the X5M, otherwise it wont drive in the snow that good.

Not hating but why the hell do you list your dad's car in your garage? It's his primary vehicle and you drive an M3..... :dunno

whats his is mine, whats mine is his. call us a joint task force lol. I drive the car daily so I consider it my own as well. Is that a crime? ohhh heavens no!!!

I didnt know the X5M needed winter tires.... Thats a bit disappointing . I thought the DSC kept it in line with... Ohh well. Thats going to cost an arm and a leg lol

What color did you order the X5M in?

2001-03 Infiniti QX4 - $8-12k with less than 100k on them and they will last you for many years with only oil changes. It will also be a legit winter vehicle that you can get some real utility out of.

Spend a little more and you will be fine. I spent 17,400 on my daily driver, not an xi, 48,000 miles and I live in Chicago without snow tires. I made it through the winter!

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
