I get a solid 40mpg on that run, so an M3 would maybe return 24mpg
so over say 20k miles that's about 55% increase in fuel bill or a £1.5k hit

I dont think i could justify using it everyday

its my w/end toy so the mpg doesn't bother me (too much)

Thats how I feel really..the 335D is a very good compromise for an everyday car, perhaps even more so as a touring.

Owning & driving a performance car is getting less and less palatable...I'm out on my bicycle each weekend for 6+ hours so that doesn't really leave much time to enjoy a weekend performance toy. Doesn't stop me wanting a 997GT3

i'm only about an hours drive from you (Nr Melton Mowbray) so maybe I can meet up see it in the metal sometime when the weather gets better. I'll bring along my cameras.

Red,thats a great idea !!! you have obviously seen my camera skills then as soon as the weather picks up and its had the run in service we'll meet up somewhere
