335 19" rims - increasing the aspect ratio of the tires

I have a 335 coupe sport package with stock 19 inch rims. The stock tires are 225/35/R19 front and 255/30/R19 rear. I replaced the run flats with Dunlop Sport Maxx non run flat but still find the ride a bit too harsh. I want to go to Michelin PS2s and increase the tire height to 225/40/R19 front and 255/35/R19 rear. Given the larger diameter, does anyone know if I will have a problem with scraping in the wheel well or will these tires be fine?

Thanks

You will just ruin the "pace" of your car. DONT do it.

Whats wrong with Sport Max? I have the same ones on my car.

Seems like not a good idea. With reagrds to the Sport Maxx, I am finding them to be getting noisy. I have 6000 kms on the car. Have you noticed any noise? BTW, looks like we have the same car - Space Gray with an Aero kit! I love the aero kit.

Wouldn't recommend it too. I went with 235/35/R19 front and 265/30/R19 rear PS2s and the ride is much improved. Even though the PS2s sidewall has the same sizes it actually is higher than OEMs.

your ride height will be different...It will raise your car...who wants that? Conti Sport 3 tires are available in your fitment - they test very well.
