just go to an indy shop with an Autologic , takes 5 minutes to code them. You need the actual injectors codes though.

I changed one injector daniells bmw in pa charged me $ 120. If you change it yourself have the numbers on the injector they will need it. Calibrating the injector did make the car smoother at idle.

We have been begging the Bavarian Technic people to add this functionality for 2 years. So far no dice. Others have replaced injectors first and then driven gently to the dealer for programming. Not sure on cost.

when i switched 3 and drove without programming i did not notice any hickups or codes whatsoever. When you code them you need ALL 6 codes available even if you change one because the program changes them so all 6 codes have to be reentered.

Interesting.... Didn't know you have to recode all 6.
I have GT1 which I bought from eBay for $30. I found the area in the software to enter the codes / tolerances. I'll create a DIY it seems pretty simple.

Here you go. You can probably get it for cheaper or for free but I wouldn't chance it. You want ensure you get a disc image vs a file copy or whatever. The seller gives instructions and was helpful for support. You'll need an OBD2 cable as well. There should be info on the coding forum for that. |
