WCM3 Detailed: 2007 335i

Hey guys,

This is the second detail that I promised. (First thread:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=WCM3). After receiving comments back from the first detail, I really wanted to purchase some Menzerna products. However, I figured I would save a little money right now and use the remaining SSRs. I'm planning to buy the Merzerna before my Spring detail, as well as, a Flex. Please comment and let me know how it went.

To be honest, during the detail I was extremely fed up. My previous M3 was fairly easy to correct, and was 13 years old. I actually ended up searching bimmerforums, autopia, and e90post for suggestions on how to detail jet black. It would come up nice after the polishing, but then when I would wipe it with my microfiber it would cause faint marring. I'm going to be prepared in the spring to tackle this again, hopefully coming up with a different routine.

Wash
Poorboys SS Shampoo
2 Wash Buckets
2 Sheepskin Mits
1 Grit Guard

Clay
Poorboys Clay
Poorboys Spray & Gloss as a lube

Paint Correction
Ultimate Detailing Machine with a couple different pads (Lake Country Orange and White)
Poorboys SSR 1, SSR 2, SSR 2.5, and SSR 3
Tons of Microfiber Towels

LSP
Poorboys EX Glaze applyed with Lake Country Gray Pads (1 coating, let settle for 24 hours)
Dodo Juice Blue Velvet hard wax applied with Lake Country Blue Pad (1 coating)
Dodo Juice removed with sheepskin pad, covered in Microfiber bonnet

Misc
Used Invisible Glass on the Windows
Vacuumed interior and used Greased Lightning to wipe down
Protected interior with 303 Protectant
Poorboys Leather Stuff on the seats
Cleaned wheels with Poorboys Wheel Cleaner
