My car feels slower with e85

Hey guys I've been noticing recently every time I fill up e85 40% or 30% my car feels like sluggish, especially shifting through gears. It shouldn't be too much boost right? My boost meter goes like 2 ticks away from max. When I fill up just 91 the car feels faster and runs smooth especially 1st to 2nd gear there;s no lag, which with e85 I always have a quick delay or backfire/misfire. Any ideas?

You have flex fuel wires, right? I would recommend starting at a lower amount and working your way up. I would also use map 5 and do the three 3rd gear runs. My car doesn't like anything over E35.

Yeah I have the Flex Fuel Wires and I'm on map 5 and every time I fill up e85 I drive around for 5 min to let the fuel mix then I reset map 5 and do 3 pulls in third gear and usually more pulls after. But maybe I should put like only 3 gallons of e85 instead of 6 and test it out.

Yeah, 6 is the max I can do. If your HPFP is weaker then it will be lower than that. I would start with 3-4 gallons and go up from there.

I usually do 6 then top off with 93, usually ends up being 8 gallons of 93
