Sand blasted headlight lens

Hi guys/gals
I'm a newbie so be nice with me!
I just bought a 06 325i that came from Alberta, Canada.
They do not use salt on roads in the winter, instead they use sand and because of that the lens on the headlight and fog lights are totaly sand blasted. I'm looking for different ways to fix this. Any suggestion is greatly appriciated.
Cheers!

You can get then lenses professionally wet sanded then put a 3M protective film on top of that
