NoVA walnut blasting?
I think I may need to have it done, but I don't know anyone that does it besides the dealership. They want $800 (?!?!?!?) to do it; for that I'll pass, or drive several hours to someone who's not hitting the crack pipe. Unless there's someone local that will do it for a reasonable price?
I know a couple good mechanics that I trust but they all say they don't have the equipment to do it. |

Flemmings is a shop and they have good prices on the Walnut blasting. Their schedule is pretty much wide open.
Clem (Adam) is a local guy with mad mechanic skills, but he's not a shop and does the walnut blasting when his tech buddies are available.

thanks for the reply Luther I will probably be giving you a call sometime later this week or next week. I am nowhere near you but I also have a friend with a Bimmer in Silver Spring (she's not on the forums at all) I probably do need new gaskets because I had to get my oil filter housing resealed when I first got the car and at that time I didn't know about the need for walnut blasting. Good to see vendors and shops watching the forums, that is a good sign!
