Used about everything I can to try get that nasty cloud shade on my headlight lens when the xenon are on, but still cant get it out. Any suggestions before I start sanding? Any tips? Thanks. Ordered new rings, so I got time to try everything. lol

That cloud is just light refracting through the lens haha... Try it with glass and a flashlight. You'll see the same thing.

It does look like your lens are pretty scratched up. I know you have compound, but you should go get the headlight cleaner kit because your compound might be a little too rough. Also you need headlight protectant otherwise the lens will get oxidized in ~6 months.

You'll need to use a polish too. Meg's PlasticX is perfect for this

I heard mixed stories about the Headlight cleaner kit. It works, doesn't and waste of money. If it really works Ill buy it just, I read that the Meguiars ultimate compound 2X better then your average headlight cleaner (Used for the body of the car). Which one do you recommend? Headlight protectant? what do you mean?

Isn't Meguiars ultimate compound just as good or better than Meg's PlasticX?

I just used this mothers kit on my girls headlights and they came out great. It includes a stepped sanding pad kit, the polish and a polishing wheel for $20.

However, like 'dominators' stated, the light will always do this through the lens to a degree.
