The AT Stage 1 default is still at 70%.

The new maps have more torque at low rpmīs, but itīs a huge lack of power after 6000 rpm compere to the old 2-19.
Power at high rpmīs means more performance on the road when racing against other cars, thats a fact.

I will load the old maps back again, thats for sure.

Shiv ---> If you could fix more power at high rpm on the newest maps they would be a killer!

I was able to get a code for the first time...does the "fuel pump plausibility" code mean I've a bad fuel pump? Or is it just one of BMW's tune detection method? Car feels 100% normal.

Fuel Pump plausibility codes are normal, and nothing to worry about. Only worry if you get that code and a fuel pressure code at the same time. Also nothing to do with tuning, I took my car into the dealer with that code and a pressure code and they said nothing.

Doomsday only huh, good thing my software had never been updated. I thought most people would be running new software which means they won't be able to use these maps..

I got that same code ONLY when running a stage 3 beta map that I normally don't run because I am not catless.

Never saw it again after I returned to the maps I am modded for.

I think you are more likely to trigger that code if you are running too strong of a map/boost for your modifications.

What map was it on?

Always runs Stg 1 with default setting.

I got the code when I checked after I updated to the new firmware, so it should already be there when I was running the old fw and maps. But the thing is, I checked for codes a few times since the code reading function came out and never able to see a code, until today after updating to the new fw and maps. So, maybe code reading was never working for me until I updated to the new firmware?

I almost always get a few codes during the process of updating the firmware (2C73, 2C74, 2FBE, 29E2, 2AAF). The funny thing is, that's the only time I ever get any codes.

Is anyone really runing their cars past 6K rpm? I'd suppose thats why no one else bitching yet if this is true. No one really reving these cars that high in driving condations, unless they have MT. Either way, not the best thing for the car and not really that necessary to rev the engine that much. Beyond a certain point all the turbos are doing is generate useless heat.

There's really no sudden loss of power/boost above 6000rpm. 6600rpm, sure. Especially in the 6AT in preparation for the upshift. Other than that, boost holds pretty strong up top.

Hmm... thats strange. I feel a distinct difference betwen the maps, especially over 6000 rpm...

And of course I rev my 6MT car to over 6000 rpm, 6700 rpm to be precise.
Theres a lot of power up there with the 2-19.

if I use the non doomsday maps, could I just use my Bavarian Technics tool to clear any codes?

Any ideas when doomsday maps will follow?

That's crazy talk. My car has never pulled harder up top. I shift at 6500 though

now i also upload the new firmware and the new stage 1 map.

the only thing i can say is ... wow

the car has much more power at low and mid rpm. thats great. at this time i test ut 70 and ut 80. later i will test ut 90 on my car.
earlier i had make a short 5km "autobahn" trip and the car accelerates very fast to +++280km/h.
i can notice and feel more power with the new maps. at this time i have no problems and limps.
