Model Year 2007-2008 M-Sport
Just curious if anyone has any pictures or information regarding the 2007 and 2008 M-Sport package that was offered in Europe but not the U.S. I've just finished an M-Sport conversion on my pre-LCI 335i, and I'm interested in seeing what they were meant to look like if ordered from the factory. I've looked, and I can't find any original M-Sport cars, only retrofits.

They released the M - Sport package for the E90 and E92 in 2008 for the 2009 model year in the US but there was an M - Sport package for the pre-LCI E90 that was only released in Europe and other overseas markets. I'm trying to find a pre-LCI E90 with the factory installed M - Sport package just for comparison's sake since I'm in the middle of an M - Sport conversion.

E92 works too for what I'm doing. What options came with the M-Sport package? Is it the same as what was offered for 2009-2011?

Just trying to see what an actual, factory original M-Sport package entails. The exterior/interior bits that I might be missing. I've finished the exterior conversion, and I already have an M3 tri-stitched steering wheel installed, so I'm just trying to find out what all was included in the original package so I don't forget anything. Pics of the exterior/interior are definitely welcome!
Thanks all! |

Subscribed. I'm def interested in this thread. Looking for exterior/interior pics as well. My front bumper is peeling and figured I'd do a conversion for a little project in the coming months.

I don't think that this is quite what you're looking for, but I'll post it anyway. I think that at the time that the E90 was introduced, 2006, it was called the "M-Tech" body kit. Was there a different, "M-Sport" package in Europe in 2007-08?
There's a thread from back then about a guy who installed the M-Tech package on his 330. He's got the same "M-Sport" shifter and e-brake handles that are currently offered with E90/E92 M-Sport. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19881 Also, perhaps you'd have luck by going to bmw.co.uk and seeing if you can look up old brochures from that period? |
