I have used Meguirs clay stick and detailing spray on a scratch/mark caused from a door being opened onto mine, very impressed with the results - it is gone completely (the mark was white/grey, looked as if it had scratched right done to the metal)

How often you apply with your P21S? I am going for my first P21S grooming package with 3 layers, any other recommendations or things to take note? Thank you in advance.

-Work in a shaded area out of direct sunlight. -Wash and dry your car -Remove all dirt from the paint (road film, air pollution residue, rainwater deposits ...) I am using P21s Paintwork cleanser. -Use a foam or terry cloth applicator pad to apply your wax. -Work on one area at a time . -Do not let wax dry completely (if not recommended by manufacture) -Remove wax with a clean polishing towel Good luck |

Zaino vote- most oil based products will simply melt off in the sun but they'll sure look good doing it
I zaino 2x/yr, let the car drip dry after washing (DI water), and then hit it w/ Z8 in the morning. Guys at work swear I have a detailing crew on it every weekend. If they only knew! ~John |

OK...I used the link an just ordered the $85 kit....looks like I'm going to be busy real soon. Anyone in San Diego want to Zaino? I'm near the coast and I've got a long driveway...so plenty of room and overcast weather....sounds perfect.

Ardex products are in my detailing cart now. This is what dealerships and detailing shops use.
I used Zaino for 7 years, so always have an endless supply of leftovers. I really think it is the PC buffer that does the magic. Best thing you can buy for polishing/waxing. Chris |

ZAINO BABY!! What I love most about it is, you will work for 4 hours and say, hmm..this stuff is not ALL its cracked up to be...and then, BANG!!! Z-6 BABY!!! I actually tried the Z-8 last weekend, and I still cant see anything bringing out the shine on a car like a good ol' fashioned Z-6 coat..The stuff is amazing!!

I would have to recommend Klasse All-In-One and Sealant Glaze. It is extremely easy to apply and remove and gives a great shine, but also very durable.
I can complete a full exterior job (wash, and one coat each of AIO and SG) in about 90 minutes and it will last me at least 9 months. No need to use multiple coats like many of the other products, which is very important to me as I don't have time to wax may car every other week. Just be sure to use a very small amount and it works much better. I have been using the same bottle for about 5 years now and there is still about half a bottle left. Michael

If anyone wants to try OTC products:
Mothers synwax FX for a light colored car (Zaino-like finish), Mothers Reflections for darker car (carnauba-like finish). Both synthetics, available locally, and VERY easy to apply and buff. I have not tried MeguiarsNXT but heard good things about it. I was originally thinking about ordering Zaino and tried the Mothers products in the meantime, now I do not see a reason to change. I have been very impressed with the results. |
