Arrow Help me decide on the proper wheel color for my Avant Garde, pics inside!

Hello e90post

I used to have some oem bbs 230s which I swapped out for a custom powdercoated set of m310 in gloss gunmetal

I recently hit a pothole which broke one of my wheels, and my other 2-3 had some bad curb rash on them so rather than get them all redone, I decided it was time for a new set.

Now the problem is, I don't know if I should reorder the same finish or go for a different look like hyper silver?
I like them both very much.
I couldn't get the pics uploaded the same size on my first try.

I want to keep it clean

Wow that was fast!

I wouldn't go for the matte black wheels because I feel they may be a little ghetto, but that's just my opinion.

I should mention a couple things. My car's tints are pretty dark: Limo in the back and 20% up front. Also, I have the shadowline trim instead of the chrome.

Would the silver wheels fit my cars look?

I will agree, hyper silver wheels do in fact look pretty classy; its just that I'm worried it might look a little too OEM and similar to the wheels that come standard on the 328i coupes.

Also, where'd the spoiler go? The Hyper Silver with spoiler and front lip. Sweet.

If you go with AG hyper silver you may want to consider this:

silver looks "cleaner"

the dark gunmetal looks way "better" IMO. If and when I ever switch my wheels, I will be getting dark gunmetal wheels for my black car.

I would choose gunmetal because my car rarely gets driven in rain and my wheels get dark with brake dust when my car is still clean.

Also I noticed the gunmetal looks better on cars with blacked out trim... chrome trim cars look better with hyper silver.

This is exactly what went through my mind.

Also, I feel like a lot of the comments swayed towards silver almost unanimously, but the votes show otherwise at this point.
Hmm..

Looks like mine under light, but yours looks darker in the picture of the wheel off the car.
How come your rotors aren't silver?

Looks good!

It's the crappy phone camera, the wheel color is most accurate on the first picture. Just wash my car that's why the rotor is like that lol.
